    With the weekend over........

What's everyone been upto in Welshie land??

Car wise I jet washed the Fester and it looks lots better, need a few hours polishing on it and then start thinking about getting the wing mirror sorted. Nova's looked at me but that's about it.

On a better note applied for a job with the council, will be ace if I do get it, would feel like a life changing experience at the moment. Fingers crossed eh

Sadly Nat's cat died yesterday and we buried her a few hours ago. 17 years old was a great innings, RIP girl.

Looking forward to Top Gear coming on and thinking we'll have to have another car wash session soon.

christ well it hung on a bit dude, was a good few weeks since you said to me that the cat was on its way.

worked today - long day and am fooked for it but pay tomorrow should be good!

yesterday did so investigating on the astra as to why i have no heaters and found that the 5 pin plug had shorted out on the blower and melted/caught fire! so that explains that little problem. got to pop up the scrappies when i get a day off and sort snipping a plug off and getting a new heater resister then i'll be warm again! new wheels should be here in a week or so too!

Cheers lads, the missus is ok ta for asking, she's glad in a way as she didn't have to make the decisoon to have her put down.

So that's where Slash's exhaust is going..... was reading recently supposedly the inlet manifold is hugely restrictive as when first designed they were putting out close to 150BHP but were then restricted for emissions and insurance etc etc. Let us know the outcome

Rob, surely if you were on fire it would have been nice and warm............... lmao

following on from this, went to the scrappies this morning, had the plug off the wiring lomb and the resister off a gls for a fiver, just finished fitting it and now for the 1st time ever since owning the astra i have a fully working 4 speed blower!

I see there's only one RC in South Wales is there

Next meet will be weekend of 24/25th November. I'll whack a thread up shortly for it.

I've always found Vaux heaters to be awesome both the Nova and Astra had the car toastie very quickly and the Astra was an estate .

K1ngy's name is Ian, glad you're both ok got enough for a 7's rubgy team soon. Have to catch up soon.

Wayne did you sort your coolant problem as well?? Is it running and stopping better now?
