get a grinder on the track rod ends, (being carefull not to knacker the thread on the track rod!) it is easy, had to do it on my astra last year for the mot - took 5 mins! so it was the tracking out yeah?

if you was closer mate i would say take the whole arm off and bring them here we could play with the oxy/cet oh so much fun making fings red hehe.

Rob, think so as they couldn't set the tracking BUT still need to have a butchers so still need help I'm gonna get some new ones priced anyways.

what you own a boat ?? hehe i dont have a burnin lamp at home tho if you could get the rods that go from the stearin rack to the struts off i could meet you and take them to work and see if i can get them undone the only other way is to soak the ends in a mixture of oil and vingure that worked for me on my old boat hehe

yep it is mate needs new track rod ends too haha not looking forward to that one tho gonna get the whole arm section and replace the whole bit lmao so much less work lmao

track rods ends on a mk3 are a bit of piss! just slacken the nut and turn one whole turn, mark with tape so you know roughly where it is, unscrew the old end (after spliting the ball joint off) then screw on the new end, retighten the nut, then get the tracking done!
