as i dont drink, it wont be needed fella. it'll have to be a week day evening as im busy with work in the days and im away rallying the weekend of the 7th and the following sat or sunday and away too.
As mentioned yesterday about getting shot of the van and the car for one tidy van ive just bought myself this, picking it up wednesday.
2.0dti, 92k full powerflow exhaust, full respray, opc bumpers and skirts, lowered etc etc etc. Cant wait

Anyone available next week for the tank move then? also anyone fancy changing the cambelt on my new run around, 1.2 8v corsa b. Its not snapped or anything but on 86k so think its about time it got done before it does! never done cambelt before so no idea what im doing with it and tbh cant afford messing it up and breaking it as i need the car for work!

christ, 12 days since there was a post in the wales general chat! so whats been happening then? personally im not feeling any love for the astra van at all. my spares doner car that i wanted to rob the sri stuff off was squashed before i had chance to strip itand im not getting on with it. ive been driving the father in laws datson of late (read as nissan almera gti) and his mk3 astra rally car (what a weapon!!!) so am missing a nippy three door car so im thinking of tidying up the van this weekend a bit more (ive done new glow plugs this week and replaced a leaky injector pipe and jet washed the engine bay and body) going to clean up the few scabs on the rear arches, give the inside a dam good clean find a new front bumper then stick it up for sale / swap for a early 3 door 1.8 / 2.0 mk4 sri/sxi/sport
Well, came one line to have a look at some trainers and thought I'd log on.
Washed the Vectra - found some rust on the door, will have to sort that soon, maybe Fow can give me some tips as his rattle canning always looks alreet.
Ordered a new manifold for the Vec as second hand ones are around 50 squids, a new one is a ton yes but at least I kow if it blows I can get a new one FOC. Should be here Tuesday/Wednesday then off to see Don so he can guide me through fitting it (No really I'm determined to actually do some work for a change - mini tub of Swarfega is being primed as we speak!!)
Car washing again this weekend as it needs a polish.
Rob - don't rule out a trusty 8v Cav just get the 2.0 and not the 1.8 you'll struggle with the powa!!!!

Hi Liam, im from Hirwaun near Aberdare. Is the cherry bomb the backbox or a centre silencer? What bore/diameter is the sportex box, cheers?
Ahh not that far then really. I'm just over the mountain from treorchy and cwmparc. The cherry bomb is a backbox mate. I also got a standard gsi backbox too.
Tidy. How much do you want for the cherry bomb? Do you know if the GSi backbox will fit too?

It is universal so will fit any exhaust. May need to cut a bit off etc

Rob you know the rally car you have down there, the corsa what colour is it mate, red and yellow by any chance. Seen one in bridgend yesterday, sounded lovely and never seen it about before.

havnt got a corsa rally car. the rally cars i do have are
a mk1 astra in green,
a mk2 astra in red
and a mk3 astra in white.
naa been busy trying to sort the car out then gave in and took it into a local garage to find out it was the inlet gaskit
