I think the 3 main contenders will be Wales, Ireland and France. England are not the same now, Scotland are still struggling and, well.... Italy....

Would love to see another big win for the Scots and would just jump for joy if we get the Calcutta cup!!

Ireland are tipped to be the faviroutes and IF they beat Wales on Sunday I think they will go on to win it as they have a very strong and talented side.

i think we have no hope of repeating that pic sammy. Will be very tough against the Irish n saturday. They have a very good record against us in Cardiff.

    Fat chance,

We've got an injury prone fly half, an ex-rugby league convert whose played a handful of games playing at 12 and Mike Tindall at 13. I mean what have we got to worry about.

That was probably the best performance England have put out for a long while - a few sloppy mistakes early on but other than that some good solid plays.

Certainly helped that Scotland weren't really up to much though - I'm under no disillusion that had we been playing Wales or Ireland, things could have turned out very differently

Could be a few interesting games coming up in the next few weeks

I see get the digs in now is it!!

On a seriosu note how bad were the decisions by the officials on the weekend. Wilko's try was nowhere near a try and the Irish musy have bribed their ref, especially when Czekaj was taken out.

Fair play you made the irish look very ordinary. You need a decent 13 (Shanks when he's fit) and your wingers back.

Yeah, that Wilkinson try was pretty blatantly in touch from the replay footage they showed on the BBC - I can't believe the Video Referee was watching the same clip?

All the same, bearing in mind how many bad decisions we've had against us in recent times, it's quite nice to get one going our way for once lmao

The opening weekend was only let down by the poor decisions of the refs.

i was suprised how well we played, yes the ref was arwful,i think irelands defence was the key to the game, play our finishing left a lot to be desired, they had 3 maybe 4 chances and scored 3 tries. that was seperated us, aprt frrom a few dodgy ref decisions
