There is a feature in Autoexpress. It may be lasts weeks copy though, not sure. They seemed to really like it. I personally love the way it look. A VXR in that colour scheme would have be very tempted to stick a depoist down.

had the lady from thurlby on the phone today, i'm going down to 888 in banbury for a test drive and talk through the mods and warranty aspects, i'll take my camera! apparently they've sold 20 already.

Woah, oil-burning tyre-shredder, i like

They did a feature on 5th gear (i think!?), head to head with the VXR, the VXR won the 0-60, but the CDTi won the rolling start (as far as i remember?!-my memorys ****e) ... the torque must be mental ...

My mate test drove this 888 disel astra as his dad was going to buy one.

They went all he way to Lincoln and said the brakes where amazing and it pulled very well.

Nasty colour though.

Very impressive performance from the diesel turbo wish they were in Australia love to drive a modded diesel astra.Have had a drive of a stock diesel turbo and to me went very well impressed...

Top gear did a review of this motor not long ago, like the VXR its v. fast but suffers with horrendous torque steer...
