    ok, ive just made a post in the tech section, then left the site, come back 10 mins laters, by this time its already automatically logged me out, so i went to veiw my topic whilst being logged out and in my post has appeared a link to purchase a ford ka

    i looged in only for it to disappear

    i thought this was a vauxhall site?

    Its Google Ads.

    They are meant to target people based on the content of the web page but almost every link I see is either for a Ford Ka or Focus.

    I find it quite amusing actually.

    They only get money (I think) if people click on it lmao

    The ads after the first post are for guests only which is why you saw it when logged out. The ads are servers by Google. If Ford want to pay to have adverts on here, I'm not going to take that revenue stream away from the club. I have a Ford ad at the top of this page right now. lol.

    Guests make up 50% of our traffic, therefore it is a good tactic to increase revenue. Just stay logged in and they won't bother you.
