Can't connect laptop to sky broadband wireless??

just got the sky HD package, tv,internet,phoneline

the sky man set up all the tv and all fine, the broadband wireless router came through the post the other day, followed the instructions, all wired up fine. can access the internet perfectly using the yellow cable plugged straight into the back of the laptop. and chelsie can use the wireless on her blackbery from the router, typeing in the password on the back and logon, but the laptop wont connect to it, type in the password, and comes up with 'could not connect due to a time out' any ideas?

definitely the correct wifi you're trying to connect to? and, could the password be cAsE sEnSiTiVe ?

yea defo the corect name of the router, and it is case sensitive, if its in caps it goes through to thinking, if lower case it says wrong password

the wireless is working as my missus can connect to it with her blackbery, but no laptop

It's defo case sensitive and is normally in caps, phone sky and get them to talk you through it, may have to go and change a setting in the router

I am with sky broadband, password is usually all in capitals. try phoning up sky and they will talk you through accessing the settings.
