Alright chaps, how can i mp3 ringtones for IPhone 3gs, i know i can buy them but they are all pretty crap, i want to put my own music on as ringtones like you can with most other phones, cheers

I used a process broadly similar to put Roobarb n Custard in as my ringtone. Didn't need to Taff about with editing and resizing as it wasshort enough already. Pretty much dragged it to desktop, renamed to m4r and put it into ringtones folder in iTunes.
Nowthe question is, can anyone change the text tone without jailbreaking n buggering about with folders n files and all that malarky?

Looked in to the message tones the other day, seems you still need to jailbreak your iphone to do that
