SteveM the way the cheating works is quite simple really but requires technical knowledge or the ability to fund someone to do it for you, normal online gaming goes through servers so your being monitored, these servers have some amount of detection for picking up cheats who have installed aimbots and wallhackers which is why WaW was such a better game.
MW2 uses host migration, no servers, no detection so people can install whatever they want (i.e. set their own parameters and XP scores) and it won't get picked up on immediately, which is why the game is FULL of them.

basically host migration is just like you having the server there in front of you, you wanna crack it open and reset how the game works then that's what you do.

I had the best kill EVER yesterday.

I was on Quarry, on hardcore team deathmatch. I was in the tallest building on the map (the 3 story red one) on the top floor, at the top of the ladder that runs up the outside of the building. You know the bit where you can see the whole map? Right... I'm stood there with my desert eagle and I see somebody running from the centre of the map (where B is on domination) up the zigzag staircase into the warehouse. I line my deagle up on the warehouse door and as he sprints in I fire ONE bullet, which headshots him lmao

not sure if thats to do with the oposition it offers with my level tho lmao

I need to concentrate on getting my deaths down, i always run straight to the action and get gunned down

yeah that'll have something to do with your game "area" you choose when you set up, I use recreational so I get decent games, meowmix and the others use different ones which results in a different class of opponent.

I've had 3 modded games today at ultra high speed, this is really starting to piss me off, the only time I enjoy it is when I play with my friendslist and whenever I hear the word DEAGLE!!

Yeah but its only MW2 that does it, the constant pressing of L3 to run. I'm getting used to it now so its not so much of an issue. was playing from 10am to 5pm lmao

Funnily enough when I got my PS3 I hated the convex sticks, now im undecided but I use small rubber grips on the sticks so its not too bad.
