Vauxhall OP-COM software required

Yep we've tried 3 laptops (XP, Win7 and Vista), a netbook (XP SP3) and a desktop (Vista), all 8 USBs on the the two laptops. Still nada. Can't find out how to change comm ports which I'm convinced is the issue.

Thanks for the link Lee, but the Opcom device is listed as a USB device in Device manager, the VAGCom one is being used a virtual serial port via USB. Bugger.

try ecutool.com or sinosells.com they let u download for free just find the opcom adapter and the software is there for dload

Dave and I bought an OPCOM unit the other day after seeing loads of people doing cool stuff with theirs.
Ours won't connect though. The USB drivers install OK and it's listed in the Device Manager, but the software can't talk to it and it fails the connectivity test.
We've tried on 2 laptops, 1 netbook and a desktop PC, all the same.

the op-com need to operate under windows xp system,and this is the only requirement to the computer.you can download the instructions and installation videos by the following link which my dealer gave me before,and i read the instruction and operate according to the video,my problem just solved

We got it working in the end on both a Vista and a Windows 7 system.
