They are phenomenal mate. I was umming and arring because of the price tag, but i defo don't regret it. When i first tried them i was like "****, i left the home theatre on high" and then i realised that that sound was coming from the headphones.

The bass is so deep and rich and you can hear EVERY detail. If some favela scum farts on the other side of the map, i'll know about it!

I'll be on later tonight around 9-10ish, the turtle beaches I have are the Earforce X41s they reproduce dolby 7.1 using the pro logic 2 system iirc, not cheap at £150 though but if you weigh it up against the cost of a good 7.1 setup that you can only use through daylight hours it makes sense for half serious gamers,

I bought the cheaper Turtle Beach XLC's... they are hardwired which means no flat batteries Having tried the x31's I can't tell the difference. For example on both headsets you hear a grenade land near you, roll along the ground then explode, you hear ALL of this.

I can't comment on the x41s but put it this way, the XLC's are under £30 delivered lmao
