How to get back deleted music files?

Hi

Looking for some help in getting some music files back as one of my parents have deleted them and they are out the recycle bin as well. Is it possible to get them back?
I have tried to restore but not letting me go back.
or any help would be great.

I'm no computer whizz but always thought once removed from recycle bin thats's it .

As above you can try recovery software BUT if you install this software on the drive where the deleted files were you will over write some or all of them!! It's a good idea to have some sort of recovery software installed anyway then you don't have this problem.

Nope, deleting from windows via delete or the recycle bin only deletes the address index for that file. Windows wont see its there but its still on your hard drive until something else is written on top of it, so theres a chance of getting it back.
