    Napster-phone, do-able?

Here's one for you: joined Napster today and downloaded some tracks to my computer. My daughter wants said tracks transferred to her phone (LG Cookie) but we can't seem to do it. Tried to Bluetooth them over which sent them to the phone but it won't play them as it said (something like) 'failed: unsupported file' and when I tried to use the USB cable I'm supposed to see an option to download to a portable device on Napster when right clicking the track but that option isn't available.
    Any ideas please? Cheers.

i am thinking the same as kerr. If they are not the correct format they won't play, when i downloaded an album off i-tunes, i had to burn it to cd, then copy it back onto my comp as mp3 file, then it would go onto my phone

Thanks fellas, I'm not sure what they saved as tbh but I'll try burning to a CD then re-sending to phone and see if it works. Cheers for that, much appreciated.

Noteburner will save you having to waste a CD when wanting to change your itunes files (m4a) to mp3's. Install noteburner, then select it through itunes (as you would usually select your CD/DVD writer) when you want to 'burn' a tune, instead of burning it to an actual CD Noteburner will stick the files on your desktop (or whatever folder you choose) as mp3 files.
