Windows Media player, Divx etc

Can anyone help before i launch this pc through the window basically when i put a DVD in or try and watch anything back using my players the sound is there but the image is black and words/pics are in like a neon blue/red

For example my Lee Evans DVD

I used system restore yesterday went ok, tried again tonight and its gone back to as you see above

Ive checked for latest updates etc but frig all is working

Have a look at the video EQ, see where the Brightness/Contrast/Saturation is set.

Beyond that (being presumably a windows system) check and reinstall your video drivers.

as lethal said, video drivers are the likely cause, unless media player tells you there are codecs missing

not seen owt about codecs, still not having it, sod it time for bed seen as im up at 4:30 lmao ill try again tomorrow after coombe, cheers guys
