as a phone with features etc its the best about IMO. stereo sound, although defo not as good a sound as my mono 3250, 5 meg camera, video calls, gps, wifi, it has all the tricks.

    BUT

the only downside i have found is having to charge the battery every day. i found turning off the "powersaver"(screensaver) seemed to help - just using the time/date text as a screen saver instead of an animated image.

defo a great phone though and it looks so ****in sexy

    The N95 runs Symbian OS.

You can get some FOSS Symbian apps over ere: http://www.symbianos.org/intro

My N95 has been here a week after having 9 Sony Ericsson P990is.

It has frozen twice, but I had ALOT of stuff running. The Sat-Nav IS A RIPOFF. It's £40 a month for the maps and VERY unreliable in relation to finding sattelites etc.

Music capabilities are pleasant. Picture/Video Capture is BRILLIANT. The headphones are **** as they keep falling out of your ears BUT you can use any standard Headphones in the phone . The screen is nice. It's 3G Video calling is ok. It has WiFi and it works nicely.

All in all, on a contract for free, it's good.

I woulnd't PAY for it with my own money though!

i cant even get my satnav to work but its not something im bothered about, ive got a tom tom for that. as said pic and vid are the best on the market ATM but i wouldnt expect that to last more than a few more months. my 3250 did sound better through the phone though but the earphone sound is decent, plus it has a graphic equaliser that can be tailored to suit your taste

Camera and video are simply superb.
The battery life is simply rubbish,my 800i was charged once a week, this as been charged each day, might be down to me playing with it more as it's new,we'll see.

nope its a once a day shot even after the novelty wears off lol.

as i said above i found turning off the powersaver(screensaver) and just having the date and time instead of an animated saver helped. so does turning off the bluetooth, well it does for me anyway as my pc connects to it as soon as i come in the house

i got the n95 and love the quality on the screen, cant seem to get the sat nav working tho, and the camera can be crap if it doesnt focus properly, also dont think much of the camera sports mode pics seem blurry when uploaded.

Not impressed with the reliability of this N95.
Crash's so much it's untrue.Get a message you go to open it,the screen freezes,no other way other than switching it off/back on again then read it.
Seems to do it when it wants.
Have read faults of ribbons on it though.
Spoke to 02 and he admitted (but very quickly back tracked) that they still supply them as people want them, even though they get loads back faulty.

    Have the latest firmware too
