video card install..?
hi
a friend is trying to fit a video card to his PC, it was removed from another PC that does not have the video card install/running programme due to a change of operating system
although the install wizard trys to download an install programme it does not seem to be able to find it and gives up lol
is there a way we can find the programme?, will we need to look at the card to find a model number?, could we find that info out from the computer itself?
any advice?
regards, brian

Best to get the info off the card then grab the driver from the manufacturers site
Doms online shop - www.picbits.co.uk/catalog,bulbs,cable,heatshrink etc Please don't ask for general advice by Private Messages - PMs are for PRIVATE MESSAGES. General advice should be asked on the Forums !

If it can't install it, sign upto driverguide and download their toolkit, you get a 30day trial thing, it will try to get the details of the device from the device and then checks online to see if it has the drivers to download for free, can be usefull in finding unknown drivers sometimes

If it's from a tiny pc, might be best to bin it and put a new card in
Good luck with finding drivers that work..you might be lucky.
