oz chrono alloys et42 17" will they work?

hi, i have a standard cav glsi mk4 and im in the process of modifying it, id like some OZ chrono evos (from the focus RS) 17" in et42, i know the cav ideally is et49, its not lowered yet, bt it will be about 30-40mm, will these rims cause problems? thanks

theyre multi stud pattern, they are also pcd100 which is right for the cav i think, so do you think its worth buying a set of those rims less than a yerar old with tyres for 300 quid?

Go for it, I would, ideally you want ET45-49, but there are people on here with an offset in its 30's so you should be OK. You are right about the PCD, in the Cav's case it is 4x100.

The only thing to remember to buy the OZ Spiggot rings to fit the Cavalier. Ask somewhere like R-Tec. Should be only a tenner or so and tell them what brand of wheel and what car it is.

I wouldn't worry about the scrubbage. Mines on 7x17s ET45 with 205/40/17 tyres and its lowered 35mm. Never has scrubbed since I took the mudflaps off.

Unless you've got IRS suspension, (GSi, Turbo Cav) then the rear seats won't fit. Get the wheels!
