Bucket seats in a Nova, info needed please...

I am thinking of putting buckets in my mk1 Nova Merit, as the standards are knackered and want it to look better.
But i would still like to get people in the back seats, is this possible?

if i used the tilting subframes will the seat hit the screen before there is enough room to get in the back?

any helpful info will be appreciated.

shouldn't be too bad mate, whatever you do it will be a squeeze to get people in the back!

Mate, get yourself a GTE interior(including the front seats )and you're sorted. This will work out much cheaper (around 50 quid) than buying the bucket seats.

I fitted OMP reclinables in mine, not much trouble, just adapted the original bases, looks the dog's!
Mind you, larger (read fat) people do have a problem getting in the back, but then again, the reduce your 0-60 time, so... lmao

You can mod the original subframes like Voodoo did, so long as you have the removable frames from a higher spec model like the SR/GTE etc. (base model seats/frames are all one piece). I have Cobra Monacos with Cobra subframes. With these, you have to drill the 2 rear holes for the subframes. There are no worries about the seat hitting the screen before it's fully tilted either. The seat will go up about 5 inches and hit the roof instead lmao (kind of pointless having tilting frames to be honest).
It's a fairly tight squeeze trying to get into the back, even if you're a feather-weight type of person.
