The ones on my Khans are metal.
Sign of a quality manufacturer I guess.

You can buy replacements from most wheel stockists dude
I have actually got alloy spigots with my fine Italian Mille Miglias![]()
Buy?????/
You can get them free if you ring up Team Dynamics/Rimstock direct!! I have a few laying about here somewhere.
cheers folks!
I will give em a call some time then demand metal ones![]()
My Team Dynamics broke when I had the wheels off for doing the brakes, I got my replacements from R-Tec, about £5 for 2 bloomin plastic rings![]()
Mine also shattered when my local Vauxhall garage took my Team Dynamics off, they are total cack.
I also got four free replacements after phoning Rimstock/Team Dynamics direct, but the quality of the replacements is just as bad, they're just too brittle.

My local garage (Interpro) have just made me a set of metal spiggots modled on the only intact plastic one I had left.
Tenner each but thats what the plastic ones cost!
Lovely job![]()

I broke 2 when changing wheels off the Astra onto the Cav, £5 for 2 from Elite Wheels & Tyres in Reading.
I didnt think it was too bad a price to be honest.
well its a terrible price, Phil just got 4 for free via HalfordsOriginally posted by mavvmad

couple of mine bit the dust ages ago, its the heat from the front brakes you see.
i just make do without them, the wheel face has tapered holes, and the wheel bolts have tapered head, so therefore the wheel bolts centre the wheel on the hub, not the spigot ring.
some people would have you believe that without the ring the wheel wont sit central and will be off balance, but thats b-llox, mine havent vibrated for a year +, and i have the wheels off all the time.
aye, he has been using it without a spigot ring for a few weeks now no probs.
Spigot rings seem to just aid lining up the wheel before you put the bolts on.
Not so in my case (and others) with aftermarket alloys.Needed the spiggot rings to stop the wheel vibration at about 60 +mph.Originally posted by Davo

Wonder why the manufacturers supply them if there not required?lmao
depends on the wheel manufacturer.
The OZ ones are very different to the Team Dynamics ones.
When I had the 17s without the spigot rings they did vibrate a hell of a lot and no amount of balancing cured it.
now that I'm on OE VX 15s though they fit exactly and are great.

I had them on my old wheels. When I took them off to fit my new (standard) wheels, one of the spiggot rings broke. I sold the wheels to a mate of mine who never bothered replacing the broken one. Don't think he's ever had a problem with virbrations etc.Originally posted by 0ddball
