So, pros would be the rear quarter would have clean lines etc.
Cons ?
Anyone done it themselves ? Got pics ?
Thought I'd ask before cutting my convertible up.

Hi mate I want to do this to my Calibra as you say it would look so nice!
Have u tried calling up a few body shops?
www.rjautomotive.co.uk
or you could have done a search before asking aobut it and their name would have come up numerous times.
they will tell you the good n bad of the mod.
migweb.
running on flexitime, by the umpaloompas
nah it' seasier to ask!![]()
One of the con's must be that you have to open the boot to fill up.
But is does look good relocating a fuel cap![]()

- Never underestimate a Retro Griffin
- www.mk1oc.com
I did search first, but nothing came up.
It was easier to post that time as I had other stuff to do, so I could come back to the post a few hours later.
Relocate it behind a hinged rear light.. that looks trick, saw it done on a snot green saxo
BRB
when the gagged ones are reinstated
I take it no-one's done it themselves then ?
con : if u spill petrol its in ure boot and not just on the garage forecourt!![]()
well my mate was tellin me somethin interestin,
i was saying "have u seen those cool cars with the petrol cap behind the rear lights"
he goes "yea but aint it a bit dangerous as the fuel might ignite from the heat of the bulbs"
hmm didnt know wat to say tbh aint it possible for somethin to happen?
Owns a white Mk3 turbo diesel with more stopping power then engine power..... boosting 0.9bar, Now De-catted!!
wouldnt think so.... pretty sure needs to be a nekkid flame.
plus
petrol is waaaaaaay down in the tank. any petrol around cap will evaporate, alsp the heat from bulbs would probably be shielded by the bulb holder thingy.
Can't see the attraction myself...
but ''Different strokes, for different blokes'', as they say!
