Pigs ear of repairing stonechips
Where can I get Panel Wipe? I phoned up CAFCO in my area and they recon they don't do it and can't get it! Phoned Halfords, they sell some spray but not sure if it is the right stuff.
Basically I sanded out some stone chips/rust bubbles back to bare metal (leaving a 1cm diameter area) but I want to clean the area before painting and cellulose thinners seems to be a bit aggressive to the exisitng paintwork and leaves a white smear...
Wish I hadn't started it now!

Try asking for spirit wipe. Thinners will attack the paint, as they're used to thin it during painting. Failing that, use fairy liquid and warm water. Wipe it over and then rinse. Wipe dry with a lint free cloth and mask and spray.
Look in the yellow pages for paint suppliers and the like.

Cheers, yes I don't much like bodywork, always end up in such a mess: fish eyes and the like... I'd much rather change the suspension strut...
Anything to do with exhausts... thats the other thing I hate more than bodywork...

No offence, but anyone can change a strut.
Bodywork takes time and people appreciate it all the more when you tell them you did it yourself. (unless it looks like a blind one armed monkey with parkinsons disease could have done better, but you get the point).
Get a haynes bodywork manual. You can get them for a couple of quid now.
