    Cav bonnet vents

    Hi peeps,
I'm toying with the idea of putting Astra Gsi vents in me Cav bonnet. Can people stick some photo's of cav bonnets with vent in on here or mail em to me- andywat@ntlworld.com

And also how do they fit on?... proper ones, not the stick on jobbies!

    Cheers!

You actually cut a triangluar hole in the bonnet and some prongs stick through and fasten with clips on the other side.

    No pics sorry.

I stuck some pics up of my recently of my Cool Lourved (stamped vents) bonnet the other week. Do a search.

Also got a mazda (IIRC) bonnet vent for sale if you're interested. Brand new.

Infact also got a set of Astra GTE bonnet vents (complete) too if you want them. they are in red (but you can always spray them).

I got the vents already mate.... got em for a tenner off ebay!
And they're the right colour too!

I see they got a lip that slots under one edge of the hole but i was wondering just what i do with the prong bits... didn't come with any clips!

Do you have any measurments of where they should go?

And what's the Mazda vent look like? can you put a link to a pic of one?

t0 ssers have only sold you half of it.

Should be a black bit of plastic that goes under bonnet. The progs go through holes in the bonnet (IIRC) and into the black plastic. Circular clips then go on end of prongs.

Not got link to scoop but will try post pic tomorrow.
