depends on the colour. I like clear ones but they don't suit every colour.
I've looked into doing the lexus ones myself.
Apart from getting someone to make them the only way i could think of doing them was to cut up a pair of clears and a pair of quad conversions afterburner lights and mix em up.
what colour is your car mate?
different types suit different coloured cars better than others

Nova Merit 1.6 H993 XMA - R.I.P
Clear rear lights are getting extremely boring. It seems everyone is doing them.
Go for the smoked versions. Nova-X has them and they look very neat and keep the lines clean.

i have a set o smoked ones that may be for sale
euro twin fog lights with clear or tinted indicator lenses.
my black GTE has smoked rear clusters without the reflector sprayed (left red) and has matching smoked oval side repeaters with red LED's shining through... i think it looks the business
roses are red, violets are twisted, bend over darlin', your about to get fisted!!!
I've got a mistral grey nova and was thinking about smoking the indicator and fog/reverse lams and leaving the top section red.
how does that sound people?
The half red half smoked clusters look good on dark cars.
had that style on my first nova. A black sr.
mmmm black nova ggggrrrrrrrrrrrOriginally posted by Fenix

they look soooo nice in black, mistral grey was the best i could do but i think its a pretty good colour
lexus style ????????
mmmmmmm show me more
tinted red indicators with clear fogs look nice i've done it
Tacky no doubt.lexus style ????????
mmmmmmmm show me more.
Half red half black ones sound cool.
My mate's gonna be converting his lights himself. Gonna keep the two top sections red and then hack up some clear rear lights and replace the indicator lens and fog lamp/reverse lamp lens with the clear lenses.
Look a bit like the Audi's.
where can i get a red bulb bright enough for the fog lamp on these things ????????
You can get those from most good car accessory shops. Philips do a good one with a silver coating. So if you were to put it behind a clear lense, you don't see it.
I think Halford's do them. Also, Demon Tweeks.
Si surely its easier to get clear ones and spray top half red ?Originally posted by SimonP

Seen that done and it looks crap! Messy.
Thing is, the little black surround on the clear rear lights is chrome effect.
The lenses are fairly easy to pop out. Looks professional if done properly.
are those silver look bulbs not only in orange
I'm pretty sure you can get other colours now. You can get the paint for them anyway iirc.
instead of hacking up clear lights wouldn't thermo setting plastic be cheaper and easier to use
