When is the best time to do this after spraying the topcoat??

I've done my wheels and want to know if i should wait for more than a day.

Allow final top coat to dry for a minimum of 24 hours before applying laquer. Dont be tempted to rush it.

Laquer when first applied acts like a thinner and will cause uncured paint to remain soft long after the laquer has dried.
This gives less stone chip protection.
You can see this in action if you accidentally touch un-dry laquer, the paint will come away with it.

    ???

i spray laquer about an hour after basecoat goes on. you cant let the basecoat go hard before you laquer, it wont stick very well.
