Question DIY Door Card trimming ??

    Anyone tried this ?

I`ve just put my GSi seats (black) in my hatch, they look fine wit,h the grey interior but I want to do the trimmed part of the door cards in the same colour.

Any hints/tips would be much appreicated (I`ve got a few old door cards 2 pratice on).

BTW its a Mk 3 Cav

Why not fit the GSi door cards as well?

Tony - the black door cards look fully out of place with the rest being grey, the seats looks nice but it would look factory done if the door card trim was black & the rest grey as it already is.

remove door card, and behind you will find about 15 plastic welds. remove these with a nice or countersink tool and the door card will come apart. Use spray adhesive to stick your chosen material to the original, then restick 2 parts back together with strong glue. Hey presto - nicely trimmed doorcards.
