    Question mk4 dash in mk3

what are your thoughts on the complexity of fitting a complete dash & fascia from a mk4 into a mk3.

Sure it would take a bit of cutting 'n fiddling, but is it possible??

    Anyone tried to do it??

It would be like going out with Natalie Portman to then going out with Pamela Anderson.

One is nicer and the other is just a bit more chunky.

MK3 dash is nicer IMHO than MK4 unless you can find a decent coupe turbo dash with the raised binicle with the large LCD screen in it.

It should fit. I've seen MK4 Dash's in MK2's. You may have to trim it a bit, but with regards to the width, it should fit.

you seem to be replying too all my Q's, are you the cabby expert, I've seen your pics...and yes you probably are!! (although why opel??

    anyway....

I think the dash looks boring, especially as the rest of my interior looks good.

Any other ideas for tarting it up....sprays, films, etc

    LOL! Maybe I dunno.

To be different. I like the badge as well. Been told it looks like an import anyway. So decided on the badges.

Interior? Well, I'm pretty sure that you can get the brushed alloy facia panels for the dash now. Halfords sell them I think. Maybe it;'s made by foliatec I dunno. I know you can get wood versions and I'm pretty sure they are doing the brushed alluminium bits for it too.
