nova bumpers need help

hi ive got a mk 1 nova and i need a new bumper cos i crashed it at the bottom of my bumper its metal part of the body and at the top its plastic thats the bit thats smashed would i be able to fit a NOVA GTE bumper on there cos i cant take the metal bit off,cheers

The metal bit you're on about, do you mean the front valance? Your 1.2 should have a plastic splitter about 1.5" deep running along the base of it. The front valance is welded into place - you don't ever have to remove it, apart from if it rusts away to nothing and needs replacing, or the Nova goes in for crash repair. If you want to fit GTE bumpers, just unbolt the original one (the bolts are on the chassis legs in the front inner arches and on the inside of the wings) and bolt the GTE bumper into place.
