    Digidash Colour Change... finally!

Finally - after having my new Digidash films for ages... i had the day off work today - so i thought i would use my new Dremel tool that i got for Christmas - and use it

I got these films from 'Dom' off the board... if you need to PM him regarding some - click here

He has online instructions on how to do this which are very easy to follow - even i did this!

Pics to follow... maybe not everyones cup of tea, and even im not sure on my colour combination - either way - its something different!

    Pics:
(sorry if they seem blurred... no light have to hold camera very still - lol)

yeh, well - i wanted all the colours to be the same on each gauge - so to speak...

so they all go from blue - to yellow - to red...

and the numbers are plain blue - with a red mph and kmph!

    will take more pics soon...

best part is the rev counter - when you hit the limiter - you know your in the red - that was the idea anyway...

ive got an MPG but not sure how to upload them...

it's strange how a simple change of colour on the digi dashes makes them look more up dated!

Ollie - its a piece of cake to reset the mileage on the odometer - just do a quick search for it on Mig - there have been plenty of threads on it.

It takes about 10 mins to do but I'm not telling how to do it cos I dont want to be involved with anybody "clocking" their cars and saying I told em how to do it.

You need a centerpunch, small hammer and a screwdriver and thats it

    Cheers

    Dom

Yeah, jack the front end up and rest on axle stands then start car up and put it in reverse. Leave like that for about half an hour. May even be quicker if you can wedge a brick or sommat on the throttle peddle.

Doesnt work - tried it ;-)

Even if you drive the car in reverse, with a digidash it still registers as going forwards i.e. do 100 miles in reverse - adds 100 miles to your trip counter
