    There is a flat metal bar which is glued onto the body of the car and the black strips clip onto these bars.

    m8 mine where just trim taped on i got the hair dryer on em and verry patiantly waited for the glue to soften ps it took me 5 hrs

    ps beware some of the paint may come off as that happened to me when i started rushing

    Early, pre- facelift were just rubber stuck with adhesive. Remove as per knightrider said. Later (facelift) are hard plastic and are removed as Scott said.
