I'm pretty sure all the badges are just stick on. Use a plastic ruler to prise them off. try and get some tar and glue to remove the stickyness.
I think the rubbing strips look better on the car, so I'm not gonna offer any advice on removing those!
    They're there, in their room.

some mk3 astras suit the rub strips off and some don't. The best way to find out is to take a photo of the car either with a digital camera or scan the image onto computer and use a program like paint to colour over the rub strips. It will give u a good idea.

They all look better with out rubbing strips, unfortunately the previous owner got the lower half of mine painted for some reason so i cant take mine off

Use a heat gun or a hair dryer and then white spirits mixed with water to get the crap off. Everyone complains that it takes AGES to do but i did the rear quarter panel in about 5 minutes, but then had to put it back on

vauxhall badges are all glued/double sided taped on unless u have dodgy "80's style" graphics down the side which i had to grind off!!!!!!!! try and heat the badges up first with a heat gun to soften the glue, then u may not have to sit picking the glue off for hours, also depending on the colour and age u might need to "T-Cut" the surounding area!
