The thing behind the speedo is the speed sensor for MPH.

If you have got a digital dash (which I suspect you have ) you can just connect up the wire.

That would work of the pulses were the same. I have a 16 pulse transducer

Whats the pulses on the back of a cav dash then??

theres only 1 wire that goes to the ecu from the computer - well, i only removed the 1 from robs car 2day anyway lmao
traced and removed every single wire from the trip computer/ check control set up, which will fit nicely into my car

2.8 was Astra GSi, some cavs, some Calibras.
2.5 Was most cavs, Astra GTEs, some Calibras.
Actually, pre DIS Astra GSi was also M2.5. They're only M2.8 with DIS - after 93 ish.

At the end of the day for all the hours work this will take? Whats the point? It wont get you anymore money if you sell the car, and as soon as you open the bonnet, people know it isnt a real GSI.
typical binns reply, now what did you do to your 1.4
