18's on a cally will go straight on with no arch mods if you stick to ET45, 7 or 7.5 x 18 and run 215/35/18 tyres.

    No idea,

My cav is lowered 60mm with the above wheels and it never rubs.

I have had the rear springs out compleatly so just sitting on the bump stops and it didnt hit the arches

so going by ur cav i should be able to get 18's on with a 40mm drop with no problems and no arch work?

i dont wanna drop it silly amounts as when the infinty kits on that will give it the impression of being alot lower i just want the wheels to sit in the arches nice.

all i gotta find now is a cheap place that does 18" Oz Superlegerra's

Just lowering 40mm will be ok but I dont think you can get OZ's in ET45.

The difference between cavs and callys is that the rear arches on the cav come straight down and then flare out over the wheel arch. The cally arches actually come out first and then come straight down so as long as the wheels fit the cally arches you can drop it as much as you like.
By the way Lee, do you have any camber trouble with your 60mm drop? I have been having no end of trouble with tyre wear even with a 35mm drop. I DO have a camber adjusting kit but have had to fit standard turbo springs at the moment!

I do have some camber but not bad enough to worry about.

I replaced the trailing arm bushes which sorted out most of the camber.
