ThanksI'm really pleased with how they look, just a little bit of hacking at the dash and they fit nicely! Now the fun begins wiring them in

Very nice work.
Very nice work
Thanks guys, I have the mk4 ECU and bits of wiring I need coming monday hopefully. So wiring can start then! Thought it would be nice to have something a little different, plus they're much more modern looking than the mk4clocks which are very dated!
It's in
Just the speedo to sort out, will need to get an ABS rear hub and a signal amp to feed that. Also the temperature gauge, I have the ECU all sorted ready to wire in

Can you not use the speedo transducer from a late 1.6 corsa sport to drive them? it changes the box drive into a hall sensor and gives you the blue/red speed wire? so the only thing you'll need the ecu for is to run the temp gauge. Btw looks very good![]()
Project Astra Aero is underway.............
I'm not sure i'll have to have a look into that, cheers!
Some updates to anyone interested..
I have pretty much finished the wiring now. Everything was pretty straight forward other than front fog telltale and sorting indicator telltales. The mk3 has one light for both indicators while the mk4 has separate ones, no biggie just a couple of extra wires and sorted.
I mounted the MK4 ECU and have that wired in as well now. Just put a couple of resistors across the CTS wires to get a test reading, spot on
I have also connected the clocks to the diag port, so tonight I got my op-com working and re-programmed the mileage
So all I have left to do is sort out a coolant temp sender, I can't use the original one terminal mk3 one, I need to fit a second 2-pin sender from a MK4 astra, and wire that in.
Then I just need to sort out the speedo, I will have a look into the corsa sender as mentioned above.
It's taken me a while to sort as there's not a great deal of information out there from people who have already done it. And I wanted it all 100% working. It's been worthwhile, it really makes a difference to the interior![]()
CheersThere's only 2 I know of that have been done in the past, only one of which had the temp gauge working.
LEDs fitted now, stripped them right down to remove the orange filter from the odometer too. Sorry about the poor pic, it's no-where near as dazzlingly bright as it looks either!
Getting there now slowly. Damn weather stops play tho![]()
Superb.
They're there, in their room.
