    Color coding tailgate

Anyone know the best way to colour code that grey/black panel on the rear tailgate of a MK3 Astra ?
If you know the part i mean.

Will it need sanding, priming, and any special type of paint ?

    why!
Just take it off!, but if you want it left on go down the grades you could use a plastic primer leave for day and use matching spray paint.

    Good tip.
warm the can up first ,eg fill sink with warm water leave in for 30sec , take out shake for 30sec carry on till bored and only spary in warm nice weather.

    halfords do very good paint

its actualy painted any way so all you need to do is flat the panel with a scotch brite or 800 wet n dry the tirim clips of after removing the number plate

in some cases yes but if you look at the panel its already painted so a good flat off will do
