mk3 cavalier steering cowling

Is there much difference between adjustable and non adjustable cowlings other than the hole for the adjuster stick?

The only real difference is the airbag models which never had adjustable colums. the cowlings on them are longer to.cover the airbag squib (slip ring)

on non airbag models the cowlings are shorter. pitstoppete has early adjustable ones i think mate if thats what you need

Well i have an adjustable one but want a non adjustable one as the hole is ugly and not required.

The cowling on mine is fine. Non airbag model but also fitted to a mk3 Astra and not a Cav lol

Ah right. i was gona say at first ive never seen a mk3 astra with adjustable steering. till i thought about what you said in the first post

It was fitted to allow the fitment of my omp boss and momo wheel.

if you had a momo boss they fit inside the longer airbag cowlings, omp boss must be slightly larger

No idea but it works just fine excluding the hole that i will hopefully cover up at some point.
