About LinkBacksHi my Astra is due its mot in february, The seats wont tilt forward the cable is tight and works but it still wont tilt. Is this an mot fail? Thanks for any help in advance cheers Adrian

I wouldn't think it could fail an MOT just on this, if the seat can't tilt, but an examiner needs excess to the rear to check the rear seat belts, he could get in the rear from the otrher seat if that tilts. As long as you explain to him that you will be looking into this and get it sorted out he shouldn't really fail it.Only seat anchorage points are considered in the test and these should be solid and rust or corrosion free.

Both don't tilt. Some huge woman owned it before me and has bent the side of the seats and there flat. Not curved anymore
