can't get momo steering of cav gsi

I've brought a oem steering wheel and can't get the momo one off, I've taken the bolt of but its just to stiff

See if you can borrow some pullers, save yourself a lot of hassle...last time I tried it without them I lost my rag and ended up having to buy a new windscreen

steering wheel puller?

Have a look at the boss and see if you have two oval holes either side of where the column goes through (look at your OEM wheel to compare). If these are present you'll need to use a GM steering wheel puller to get it off. You can pick them up on ebay for around a tenner if you can't find one to borrow. Halfords sometimes have Laser ones in stock.

Don't use a hammer. Collapse-able column.

Buy a puller, you'll not break your nose when the wheel comes off the column.
