astra passenger rear door stuck

hello, the rear door on my astra mk4 1999 1.6 club wont open from inside or out! all the other doors work fine? do you guys have any tips of atlest geting the door open so i can get the door card off and have a look?

It might be the deadlock has activated on the door and got stuck - you can still pull the locks up on my MK4 with the deadlock on but you can't open the door.

Sounds like you might need to pry the doorcard off from inside and maybe get a replacement from the scrappie if you damage it

thanks for the reply. i tryed pulling the dead lock up alought nothing has happened door still wont open from the in side or out sounds like its going to be a pain of a job to do

Used to happen to the drivers door on my caddy van, even when i was inside! it was a right pain in the ass.

door card should come off with a bit of force...
