Question Attaching Mesh to Bumper ?

I`ve finally got my Rieger apron on & painted, all I need to do now is fit the mesh.

Whats the best stuff to use to glue metal mesh to plastic/fibreglass ?

    Cheers

i would say fibreglass, very strong for mesh, thats what i have done this time and it aint came off, used bonding glue before anf it came off.

Aha, a subject that interests me. I think that at any one time maybe 40% of meshed grilles have the mesh falling out.
I reckon it's worth using screws if you can get them to fit.

Look closely at this picture and you'll see that I managed to drill very small pilot holes in the 1.5mm plastic on my GTE front bumper. The mesh hasn't fallen off yet.
Do you want to install and run "Adobe Flash Player 9"?
    No, now f*** ***.

Cheers guys, I`ve got the mesh on & it looks sweet & is nice & sturdy.

I managed to screw the top edge on & used my left over Sikaflex to join it uder the lip of the fibreglass.

I used some weird epoxy glue stuff and chemical metal...

Ok so they were the only things to hand at the time....

Halfords do a bonding Epoxy glue with a 2,500 psi breaking strength.
Absolute crap stuff, one tug and it breaks away.
Screws are best, followed by no nails bonding glue if screws are too awkward.
No nails is messy, and looks shite if done badly, but it sticks like a passionate stain on a bed quilt.
