fitting a steering wheel question

when changing a steering wheel can it only go on the column in one way? also is it ok to replace a standard vectra b 4 spoke steering wheel with a 3 spoke vectra b sri facelift steering wheel?

No it is splined so make sure its lined up dead straight and keep it that way while you remove it or you could be a few degrees out.
