    vectra gsi gear knob

    hi i want to replace the gear knob on my veccy as the one ive got is damaged how do they come of ive been told you have to take the hole lot of is this true? or dose the knob just screw of any help would be appreciated its a 1998 gsi just had a go and it screws of but ive been looking and carnt find a replacment knob that just screws on the knob is of an st its the carbon fibre effect one

    AFAIK, they're glued on and have to be broken off.
    Probably the same idiot designed it as the one who left the acc's position off some Vauxhall ignition switches.

    I've got the old one of mate it just screwed of the shaft is threaed but I carnt find a vauxhall knob that just screws on like this one
