    Light up grab handles

Do these bolt straight in to a gsi or do i need to make any modifications? I know some you need to cut away some of the metal to make them fit, but wondered if the gsi may already be prepared for them.

I fitted some to my 94 hatch a while back, they came from a 92 GSi & were a straight fit.

The wiring plug should be theer already, taped up next to the ariel.

Its easy to check if the plugs there, pull the trim of around the boot light & it should be in there next to the ariel motor, there is 1 Red wire, 1 brown & 1 grey.

A 1990 GSi requires metal cutting.

They are wired to the interior light and have a 3 way switch on them.

Off, on and on with the interior light/door lights.

Got a Mk2 Astra SXi and it's as dark as death in the back - I'm sure there's still a kebab in there from last month !!

Anybody know if I could put them straight in or would there be a bit of roof-cutting which I suspect there will ?

For info - fitted some straight into the back of a face-lift Cav '92 GLS with no cutting but had to run some wiring !)

Being only 5 Watts they don't shed much light in the back!!

I'm not too bothered just as long as it's not pitch black when you open the doors really but do you know if they would fit straight in or would I need to do some cutting ?
