    Side repeaters

I got a set of oval side repaters yesterday for my mk3 astra (series 1). The problem is that the hole in the wing is a diferent shape and size to the new repeater. The hole is too small.
Has anyone else fitted the series 2 (oval) repeater to the earlier astra and how did you do it?
I've thought about trimming the plastic on the back of the repeater away and fixing it with some kind of sealer (like silicon sealer). Not sure how secure this would be though.
    Anyone help?

I went to the trouble of cutting the wings so they would clip in.I know the easy alternative is to break the clips off ,and silicone or just double sided tape them in!. The bulb holders may be different as well so watch for that one

trim n glue. I've replaced your oval repeaters for mk4's.

fit perfectly if u turn em around the other way, clip in no problem without any trimming.

    good luck
