Tyre Sizes for my BK racing 166 Alloys

Hi All

Just asking as been told something I am not 100% on

I currently have 17 inch BK racing Alloys on my Astra Mk4 Coupe Convertible

Tyre sizes are 225/45/17 all round

Car is on standard springs.

Tyres are due to be replaced soon and I have ben told that these alloys will also fit 215/40/17.

I am needing these size tyres in order to install lowering springs front and rear and will not require any mods to my arches with these tyre sizes.

Can anyone confirm that my wheels can take these size tyres. opeflly they can as they are lot cheaper for all 4 than current tyre size

Yeah they'll fit and will allow more space between the tyre and arch

thanks, didnt think to chamge tyre size, just saved myself some cash as dont need to have arches rolled now and can lower with no work involved.

I assume the other repliers know the offset and width?
