Smile Need help with Corsa B alloy wheel size!

    Hello,
I'm buying a car soon, and it looks like I will get a Corsa B 1.4 (5 Doors). However I need to know few thing about changing the wheel size.

First of all, can You please tell me what is the original wheel size of the Corsa B 1.4 5 Doors?

Now lets say that I want to change the wheel size, I need a size that will be little bit bigger so the fuel consumption won't increase dramatically (I'm a student ). So which wheel size do You think will be good according to these demands?

Do You think changing to Corsa B GSI wheel size will be good? ( and whats the wheel size of the corsa b gsi)

I'm little bit confused please help me
    Thanks

5 doors came with 14" wheels, Corsa GSi wheels are also 14". And your fuel economy isn't going to change if you go for larger wheels. If anything it will be the tiniest of margins, nothing that you would notice in a million years.

Corsas came with either 5x13 or 5.5x14 wheels. Different tyre sizes were fitted depending on the engine. From memory, of the cars that were fitted with 14s as standard, the GSIs were fitted with 185/60/14s. The 1.4 16v was fitted with 175/65/14s. Less powerful engines might have had a 165 width tyre. All the applicable sizes are in the back of the manual, which I don't have to hand!

Many people choose to fit the 185/60/14s regardless, as they hold the road slightly better (in my opinion anyway) but above all are usually slightly cheaper, being a more common size.
