I've a literal shed full (well, about half) of E30 'bottle cap' alloys with a selection of tyre types, for the Chevette. They're a 40 offset, 6x14 rim and may need a 5mm spacer on the front to stop rubbing on the damper at full droop with 195's, 185s cleared, just. Depends on the damper, though, as some don't drop far enough to be a problem.
they don't worry about centre bores down here, so can't say for sure they're the same - certainly not smaller...
Stock Chevette wheel is 37 offset, 5x13.
Other options are some Hondas, isuzus, Toyotas, Nissans, etc - but nNOT all - check and also offsets for the FWD cars may be a problem - also check.

Using 4" (101.6mm) pcd is stupid and dangerous - an excellent way to smap studs and loose a wheel.
However, you could use a spacing adaptor if you wanted - for an 8" rim, you really need a zero offset - widened restyles with, IIRC, 175/50 tyres are quite popular down here. I don't much care for the look in general, but it can look really good on lowered wagons.

You may want to have a look here - The New Zealand GM T-Car Club - Home - it's slow to load so give it time.
