Corsa b with Prowler Wide Arch Bodykit...Very strange????

    Hi

I have just brought my first car corsa b 1998 and it has come with a prowler wide arch body kit and 18 inch alloys. Now I don’t know anything about cars (I only brought this as it was in my price range and I was desperate for a car) but its looks like a spaceship??? Can I take this bodykit off or would that be too difficult?

The car itself drives great but I just feel like it looks silly, maybe that’s cos I’m not used to cars with body kits, maybe it because I’m a girl or maybe its just because this bodykit is actually a bit excessive?

Also is it me or do the wheels never look like they fill the archs?

I was just looking for some friendly views on what I can do to make this look ok, or if anyone has one of these body kits on their car?

I will try and get some pics asap.

    Thanks J

    Jazz

Ah, the good old prowler kit. What a pile of poo!

Removing it should be easy enough although it will all depend how it has been fitted. If it's been bodged on then you may face some issues.

Have the arches been smoothed in on the kit?

    Thanks for replying Melv

God is it that bad? I kinda regret buying the car now Or I shouldnt have been so impatient!

I have no idea if the arches have been smoothed in but it does look like it is well fitted.

I looked under the car and it was origionally a red corsa, the body kit and rest of the car is now a really really shiny black, I guess that would mean I would have a half red half black car if I got it took off?

Also I feel EVERY bump in the car, would this be because of the body kit or bacause of the low profile tyres?

    Thanks
