Just fitted an Irmscher grille to my car and the little pull tab for the bonnet release is sticking out. Any suggestions/tips for making it not show?
file it down abit?, fit a solonoid bonnet opener?

I have a Steinmetz grill which is the same. I just cut about half an inch out of the standard pull and fixed it back together with a small bit of thin ally sheet. About 1cm x 3cms. Has been working fine for over a year now and you cant see it until the bonnet release inside is pulled.
Where abouts are you in Bucks mate and have you been accross to astra-sport yet? Lots of stuff on there about modding your Astra G.
