Vxr8 alloy wheel nuts and locking

My vxr8 is fitted with 19" parallel kr731 Alloy Wheels. I recently got them refurbished but I cannot source nut caps because the wheel nuts are 23mm hexagon.

I am now looking to replace the wheel nuts and locking nuts for a smaller hexagon size. I can source 19mm or 20mm nut caps, but I am wondering because of the size and weight of the wheels whether the 19mm or 20mm hexagon nuts will be ok to fit.

Your advise would be gratefuly appreciated. I did try downloading photos of the wheels and car, but failed miserably. Is there a website where I can store photos and download to this Forum

Just out of interest, why do you need nut caps?

Protect the nuts and thread. Comes as standard with most alloys. Because I have replaced the standard vauxhall VXR8 Alloys for some German Wheels, the standard nuts and locknut that come with the original wheels are too big for the new alloys.

If you make a search on line nuts caps come in sizes 19mm to 21mm. I made enquiries with vauxhall in regards the 23mm wheel nut & caps that came with the original wheels, but not much sense
