New to looking at details of alloy wheels fitted to cars lmao
basically 2153518 on cav turbo
8x18 with offset 30/35
any rubbing issues or running issues
looking to put some better looking wheels on the car and lowet slightly
been looking on net and offset according to sites is 35 to 45
but originals are 49!
Help as i only got so long to sort this and order the wheels,shed load of money if i
get it wrong

Take measurements of the clearance you have with the current wheels and work it out from there. 49 is the best offset for your suspension geometry but you can fit lower. Usually down to 40 has little effect on normal driving.
to run wheels on ur cav turbo they need to be pcd 5x110 and offset et40-49...
if u go lower than et40 i.e. 35 36 38 etc....u will leave ur arches behind u as u drive off cause ur wheels will stick out further than the arch!U can run 8j wide alloys on the cav but tbh u would be better off running 225x40x18 tyres (in doing so u will need arch mods i.e. roll the arch lips) cause 8j alloys are wider than the norm which would be 7.0 or 7.5j and u could end up cracking ur alloys merely cause the tyre width aint covering the wheel to protect. I found this out hard way

well just found same wheels now with pcd of 112 and offset of et50
surely about as close you can get!
you should buy these , if they were nt so far away i would consider them for my mk5 astra

Nice wheels look smart... Any probs rubbing wise. Im hopefully getting 215/35/18 8/18 offset 50 should be ok? lowered no more than 35m

Just found some other alloys team dynamics 7.5 18 correct stud pattern offset of 45 im running 7.5 18 with offset 44 at mo no issues
should be fine 2153518 then
Correct above im on Gsi 17 inch wheels at mo
